Paul is an independent consultant specializing in Digital Health and workshop and event facilitation. Building on his early career research with a Ph.D in Biochemistry from the Walter+Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research, his current activities now focus more particularly on digital health and the impact of AI on healthcare.

He is a co-organizer of the Melbourne meetup group Ai-in-Healthcare and is Dep. Chair of Biogrid and currently elected on the Vic Council of AIDH. He is appointed as A/Prof Health Informatics Management at Deakin University and he currently sits on the Health Ethics committee of St. Vincents Healthcare. His 35 year career path includes research, government, private sector, and tertiary education.
